On the way to the Kuressaare SPAs, I stopped in Liiva, because it was already late to continue. I stopped at the Liiva Kosnum parking lot and had plenty of time to explore the surroundings. I discovered that behind the market square in Liiva, the Muhu municipality has built a decent large parking lot, where commercial vehicles and also smaller cars or caravans can park for free. Next to the parking lot, behind the market square, there were decent toilets and a shower room that was open 24/7. There was no electricity, water connection or sewage disposal, but otherwise it was very comfortable and safe to stop there. So, for anyone who has something to do in Saaremaa and needs to stop or spend the night on the way, this parking lot is a very good place for that.
