There are several RMK recreation areas along the coast in Northern Saaremaa that all summer residents can use free of charge. The recreation areas are in naturally beautiful places, equipped with toilets, campfire pits and barbecue pits, and in some places you can even find free firewood on the pitches.

The only problem when traveling with a caravan is that there is nowhere to get electricity 🙂. At the Meiuste camping area, you can park your caravan by the road a little further from the sea or in the parking lot. If you drive a little west from the Meiuste RMK area, you can park your caravan right by the sea, but these places were quite busy when we visited.

In any case – RMK has made interesting places for the areas by the sea…..nice to park/camp/just sit and rest 🙂 In Tahkuna, you can also park your caravan under the forest or in a parking lot, which is relatively far from the beach.
