The Palanga area is familiar to many. As you know, there is almost always a lot of sun, sea and a promenade here, where there is something to do in the evening.
This time we drove here for the first time with a caravan. We stopped in Kunigiškes, which is located about 7 km north of the Palanga city center.
This town is designed for those who are interested in staying in campsites, camping or driving around with caravans. We chose an accommodation called Camping At The Sea as a place to stay. We had a sun holiday and this place was ideal for such a holiday. You could go straight through the forest to the sea with a sandy beach, the distance is about 400 m .
This place should be noted for the cleanliness of the toilets and shower rooms. Our campsite was right next to them and we noticed that the campsite staff cleaned these places very often – I could say that I have never seen anything like it anywhere else.
The parking space was charged at 24 EUR per day and included electricity, water, waste water disposal, shower and toilet. The electricity was weak there and would blow out the fuse if you turned on too many electrical appliances. You could also use the barbecue areas located in the accommodation area.
The nearest shop was about 400 m away, but if you needed to go to a shop with a larger selection, you had to drive to Palanga.
We went to the promenade this time too, but everything was pretty much the same as it has been every year. A couple of restaurants had been added towards the sea and that was the only novelty this time. We stayed there for a total of 5 nights and we will definitely go back there.
